Natural Playground

If you live in Powell and haven’t found this spot yet, you’re missing out. Tucked near the tree line with actual forest trails nearby, it feels less like a typical playground and more like somewhere kids actually want to spend an afternoon. The whole thing is built from natural elements — logs, stumps, that kind of setup — so it doesn’t have that plastic-and-primary-colors vibe most parks default to. There’s a zipline, which honestly does most of the heavy lifting for keeping kids entertained, and the shade trees mean you’re not melting on a bench in July. Worth the detour if you’re anywhere near Powell.
