If you live on the west side of Ashland, this is probably already your go-to spot — and for good reason. The bike track and walking path wind close enough to the woods that it actually feels like you’re getting away from something, even if you’re five minutes from home. Little kids have their own play area, while older ones can claim the soccer field or just run loose on the open grass. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables and BBQ area make it easy to stay all afternoon, and the pond nearby gives the whole place a slower, quieter feel that’s hard to find at busier parks. Parking is easy, restrooms are on-site, and honestly it handles a full family day without any stress.
