Wampler Park (Massillon Parks & Recreation)

Locals know Wampler Park as one of those spots that just has it together. The swings get a lot of use from the little ones — there’s a good mix for different ages — and the basketball court keeps the older kids busy while parents grab a shaded table for a picnic. There’s a walking path that winds toward the woods and a nearby pond, so if your kid needs to burn off energy after snack time, you’ve got options. It’s a genuinely quiet corner of Massillon, not a lot of through traffic or noise, which makes a difference. Restrooms on-site too, which parents of toddlers will appreciate more than anyone.
