If you’re looking for a solid family spot in the McDonald area, this park genuinely delivers. The bike track and walking path keep kids and adults busy, and the open grass field gives little ones room to actually run around. What sets it apart is the creek access — fishing here is low-key and easy, no gear-hauling required. The pond nearby makes for a pretty backdrop, and the whole place is kept up well enough that you won’t be dodging trash or broken equipment. Good for a half-day out with kids anywhere from toddler age up to around 12.
