The airport theme here actually works — kids get genuinely into it, and the layout gives them enough room to run between the climbing structure, slides, and swings without everyone piling on top of each other. That soft blue turf underfoot is a nice touch, especially for the younger ones who are still figuring out the whole gravity situation. Bring bikes too, because the bike track gets real use and it’s one of the better setups for that age group in State College. Picnic tables mean you can actually stay a while, and the open grass field means older kids aren’t stuck waiting for equipment. It’s well-maintained, which honestly can’t be said for every park around here.
