Baker Park Playground

If you live in Frederick, Baker Park is probably already on your rotation — and for good reason. The playground hits all the classics: slides, swings, a climbing structure, merry-go-round, and a sandbox that keeps the little ones busy longer than you’d expect. The enclosed play area makes it easy to relax on one of the benches without constantly doing headcounts. Shade trees keep things bearable in summer, and with restrooms and picnic tables on-site, you can stretch a quick trip into most of the afternoon. Kids from about 2 to 10 get their money’s worth here, and the open grass field and walking path give everyone else something to do too.
