If you’re after somewhere low-key where the little ones can actually breathe, this is your spot. The slides and swings are solid for the toddler-and-under-5 crowd, nothing flashy but exactly what younger kids need. Plenty of open grass to burn off energy, and the benches mean you’re not standing around the whole time. The Gold Star Monument gives the park a little more weight than your average neighborhood stop — worth a moment if you’ve never noticed it before. Locals know it’s usually quiet, which honestly is the whole point.
