Akron Fossils & Science Center

If you haven’t taken the kids to Akron Fossils yet, you’re genuinely missing out — and I say that as someone who lives about 10 minutes away in Copley. It’s not just a museum; there’s a 200-foot zipline out back that the older kids will absolutely lose their minds over, and honestly some adults too. The fossil exhibits inside are legit educational without being boring, which is a harder balance to pull off than most places manage. Pack a lunch because there are picnic tables on site, parking is easy, and you can stretch a visit into most of the afternoon without anyone complaining.
