Firefly Nature Playground

If you haven’t made it out to this spot in Nibley yet, you’re missing one of the more genuinely cool playgrounds in the area. The equipment actually fits the nature theme — we’re talking log balance beams, a hollow log tunnel, a frog climber, and a spinning mushroom, not just standard plastic stuff painted green. Companion swings are a nice touch for parents who want to ride along with little kids, and the merry-go-round gets a solid workout on busy afternoons. It sits right alongside trails and open grass, so older kids and adults can walk while the younger ones play. The butterfly habitat piece makes it feel like more than just a playground — there’s actually something to learn here while you’re at it.
