Right in the heart of Selkirk, this park punches well above its weight for a town this size. You’ve got a football ground and tennis court if you’re after a proper game, plus an outdoor gym for those who like their exercise free and in the fresh air. The open grass areas are genuinely good for just spreading out on a sunny day, and there are enough benches dotted around that you won’t be fighting for a seat. The wooded area at the back gives the whole place a bit of character — worth a wander if you’ve got kids who like exploring. Bus access makes it easy to get to without a car, which is a bonus.
