Doneraile Park Playground

If you’re anywhere near Doneraile, this playground is worth the detour. The zipline gets the most attention from the kids, but the wooden play train is genuinely charming and keeps the younger ones busy for ages. There’s a solid mix of slides, swings, and climbing gear that covers all ages without feeling overcrowded. Real toilets on site — not a portaloo situation — plus a decent car park makes the whole trip a lot less stressful for parents. The wider park has a walking path and open grass if you want to make a proper afternoon of it.
