One of the better-kept playgrounds in north Cork, this one genuinely delivers for kids across a wide age range — from toddlers just finding their feet to older ones burning off energy on the climbing structure. The equipment is a step above your average council setup, and it actually stays clean, which isn’t something you can say about everywhere. It’s fully enclosed, so you’re not constantly doing headcounts, and sightlines are good enough that you can sit back without hovering. Parking is handy, which is probably why schools use it for tours — it’s easy to manage a group here. Worth the trip if you’re passing through Mitchelstown with kids in tow.
