Carrick Playground (Clós Súgartha Chois Abhann)

The river walk alone makes this place worth the trip, but the playground itself is solid too. There’s a sensory area which you don’t see at every local park, and the open grass field gives kids proper room to run about rather than just clustering around one piece of equipment. It’s kept clean and tidy — someone clearly takes pride in the upkeep here. Good spot if you want to combine a walk along the water with a bit of time letting the kids burn off energy.
