Pollan Bay/ Ballyliffen beach playground/play park

Right on the edge of Pollan Bay, this little play area is the kind of spot locals know about but don’t always shout too loudly about. It’s a simple setup — swings, a slide, and a climbing frame — but the location does most of the heavy lifting, with the beach literally right there and the views across the bay doing something to you every single time. Good for toddlers and younger kids who need a run around before or after a paddle. There’s parking on site, which makes life easier, and the open grass field gives them room to burn off whatever energy the swings didn’t take care of.
