The Lakeside Tavern Drumcong

If you’re driving through Drumcong and haven’t stopped here yet, you’re doing Co. Leitrim wrong. The food is proper home-cooked stuff — the burgers and fries alone are worth the detour, and nothing tastes like it came out of a freezer bag. Staff actually make you feel welcome rather than tolerated, which goes a long way. It’s well set up for families too, with enough space that you’re not cramped in beside strangers while the kids fidget. Good spot for a relaxed lunch or a casual feed without any fuss.
