Ballinafad Playground

If you’re after somewhere quiet that actually has something worth coming for, this little spot out in Sligo delivers. The zipline is the main draw — kids go absolutely mad for it, and honestly it’s one of the better ones you’ll find at a playground this size. There’s a lake nearby which gives the whole place a lovely calm feel, and whoever’s in charge of keeping it maintained is clearly putting in the effort. Bring a picnic, use the tables, and settle in — you won’t feel rushed or crowded here.
