Cascade Park Playground

If you live on the southeast side of Grand Rapids, this is probably already your go-to spot. The enclosed play area is a genuine relief for parents of toddlers — kids can actually roam without you hovering at every turn. Swings, clean restrooms, shaded seating, and picnic tables make it easy to stay a while. The basketball court and soccer field give older kids something to do while the little ones play, and the walking path around the park is a nice bonus if you want to get some steps in. Honestly, it checks most of the boxes for a solid family afternoon out.
