Locals with kids in the 2-12 range really do rely on this one throughout the summer — the splash pad keeps the little ones busy for hours without anyone melting down. The climbing structure has enough going on that older kids don’t immediately wander off, which is a win. Shaded seating and picnic tables mean you can actually stay a while without roasting, and the restrooms are there when you need them. The basketball court and open grass field give older kids somewhere to burn energy while the younger ones do their thing near the water. It’s a quiet neighborhood park, nothing flashy, but it checks a lot of boxes in one spot.
