Griese Park

One of the better all-around parks in Marshfield, Griese Park pulls in families with kids of just about every age — the play train alone keeps the little ones busy for a solid chunk of the afternoon. Older kids drift toward the basketball court and soccer field while younger ones work through the slides and tire swing. There’s a bike track too, which you don’t see at every park around here. Pack a lunch because the picnic tables actually get used, and restrooms mean you’re not cutting the visit short. Honestly it’s the kind of place where you show up planning an hour and end up staying three.
