Marshfield Fairgrounds Park by the Central Wisconsin State Fair Association

Most of the year this place is seriously underrated — a big, open fairgrounds with clean grounds, a solid walking path, and plenty of grass to spread out on. Come fair time, it transforms into the heart of Central Wisconsin entertainment, but even on a quiet Tuesday it’s worth a visit if you just want space to breathe. The parking situation is easy, restrooms are actually maintained (a low bar that a lot of parks fail), and there’s room for kids to run without anyone worrying. Families with grandkids especially seem to claim this one as a regular spot. It’s not flashy, but that’s kind of the point.
