Woodland Creek Community Park playground

One of the better-kept parks in Olympia, this one actually earns its reputation — the playground works for little kids and older ones alike, which makes it way more useful than spots that only cater to toddlers. There’s a pond nearby, so fishing trips and playground time can happen in the same visit, which the kids around here love. Restrooms are clean (genuinely, not just “fine for a park”), and the covered structures get booked for birthday parties pretty regularly for good reason. If you’re looking for somewhere low-maintenance for a family afternoon, this one delivers.
