Holmby Park’s playground is one of those spots locals keep quietly to themselves — and for good reason. The equipment is newer, with solid climbing structures, multiple slides, swings, and a tire swing that the under-10 crowd genuinely goes wild for. Soft rubber ground underneath means less anxiety for parents of wobbly toddlers. Shade trees and covered seating make a real difference on hot LA afternoons, and parking is actually not a nightmare here, which honestly can’t be said for most of the city. Throw in picnic tables, restrooms, and a grassy field for running off steam, and it checks pretty much every box for a low-stress family outing.
