Right in the heart of Atlanta, this spot actually lives up to its name — kids across a pretty wide age range can find something to do here, which isn’t always a given in a city park. The layout is one of the better ones I’ve seen downtown; you can sit on a shaded bench and still have eyes on your kid without constantly chasing them around. Those shade trees do real work in the Georgia heat, so summer visits are actually survivable. Parking is available, which — again, downtown Atlanta — matters more than people think.
