Nature Playground at 39th Ave Greenway

If you’re tired of the same plastic-and-metal setups, this spot along the 39th Ave Greenway is worth the detour. It leans hard into natural play — logs, rocks, sand, and a little water feature with stepping stones that toddlers absolutely lose their minds over (in the best way). The climbing structure fits the 2-to-4 crowd just right, nothing too intimidating, and there’s enough shade from the trees that you can actually sit on a bench without melting in the summer heat. It backs up near trail access too, so older siblings or parents who want a quick walk have options. Honestly one of the more thoughtfully designed little parks in Denver for this age group.
