If you’re in downtown Orlando with kids, Lake Eola is honestly one of the better stops you can make. The playground is fully enclosed, which matters a lot when you’ve got a 3-year-old who thinks they can just bolt — swings and a merry-go-round keep the little ones busy while older kids have room to run on the open grass. Shade trees do real work here on those brutal Florida afternoons, and the restrooms and benches mean you’re not cutting the trip short because someone needs a bathroom or your feet give out.
