Salem Park

If you live in this part of Virginia Beach, Salem Park is just one of those spots you end up at constantly. The playground works well for the 2-10 crowd, and there’s enough open grass that kids can actually run around instead of just standing in line for the slide. Shade trees make a real difference on hot summer afternoons, and the lake views give it a much more relaxed feel than your average neighborhood park. Parking is right there, which sounds like a small thing until you’ve hauled a toddler six blocks from a street spot.
