If your kid is past the baby swings phase, this one’s actually worth the trip. The recent remodel made a real difference — it finally feels like something the 5-12 crowd can sink their teeth into, especially with the taller slide that gives older kids an actual thrill instead of a boring two-second ride. Salem Lake is right there, so the setting is genuinely pretty, and it makes the whole outing feel like more than just a playground run. Honestly one of the better spots in Virginia Beach for kids who need something with a little more to it.
