Right near the water, this playground pulls in families from all over New Bedford — and honestly, it’s easy to see why. The inclusive design is the real standout here, with equipment that works for kids of all abilities, not just as an afterthought but built into the whole layout. Slides and swings keep the little ones busy while older kids find enough to do that nobody’s bored and begging to leave. Parents actually get to sit on the benches and breathe for a minute, since sightlines are solid throughout and the ocean view doesn’t hurt either. The place is consistently clean and well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every playground in the area.
