Mile Square Regional Park Playground

If you live in Fountain Valley, you probably already know Mile Square is one of those parks that actually delivers on the “regional park” promise. The lake with the gazebo island is the real draw — it’s the kind of spot you end up just standing around longer than you planned. Beyond that, there’s a solid bike track, walking paths, and wide open grass fields that give kids (and adults, honestly) room to actually move. The grounds are genuinely well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every OC park. Good call for a half-day outing if you want something more than a standard neighborhood playground setup.
