Mile Square Regional Park is one of those spots that Fountain Valley locals keep coming back to, and this playground is a big reason why. You’ve got your standard slides, swings, and a climbing structure — nothing flashy, but solid enough to keep kids occupied for a good stretch. The shade trees do real work on hot Southern California days, and the picnic tables nearby make it easy to pack a lunch and actually stay a while. Parents can keep an eye on things without hovering, which is a nice bonus. The open grass field and walking path give everyone in the family something to do.
