The equipment is newer and the facilities are genuinely well-kept, which isn’t something you can say about every park in the area. Shade trees and covered seating make it actually usable in the summer heat, and the walking path is a nice loop for anyone who wants to get some steps in while the kids play. Clean restrooms, picnic tables, the whole deal. It works for little ones and older kids alike, which is why you’ll see families from all over the neighborhood here on weekends.
