Batey Park Playground

Pretty solid little spot if you’re in the Elk Grove area and want somewhere low-key. The climbing structure got a remodel not too long ago and it shows — everything’s in good shape, no broken equipment or worn-out hardware like you see at some of the older parks around here. Parents can actually sit in the shade and keep an eye on things without squinting across a field, which honestly makes a big difference on a hot Sacramento Valley day. It’s the kind of quiet neighborhood park that flies under the radar but earns regulars for a reason.
