Honestly, Bloomingdale Park is one of those spots where you can show up with a mixed-age group and everyone finds something to do — little kids gravitate toward the slides and water feature on hot summer days, while older ones head straight for the basketball court or soccer field. The walking path is a nice touch if you’ve got grandparents or anyone who just wants to move around without committing to a sport. Benches are actually plentiful here, which sounds like a small thing until you’ve spent time at parks where seating is basically nonexistent. Restrooms on-site too, which matters more than people admit when you’re there for a few hours.
