If you know City Park at all, you know this spot gets busy on weekends — and for good reason. There’s an open grass field nearby if the little ones need to burn off more energy, and the soft fall surface makes it forgiving for the toddler crowd. Parking is easy enough to find, and with the lake close by, the whole setup feels more like an afternoon out than just a quick playground stop.
