This park pulls a lot of weight for the neighborhood — the water feature is a real draw on hot New Orleans days, which, let’s be honest, is most of them. Families with kids of all ages tend to make a day of it, bouncing between the open grass field and the walking path without feeling rushed or crowded. Parking is right there, which in this city is never something to take for granted. The grounds are kept up well enough that it gets used for community events pretty regularly, vendor stalls and all.
