Winkler Park

Honestly, this little park punches above its weight for such a simple setup. The enclosed play area is a lifesaver if you’ve got toddlers or kids under 8 — slides, swings, a climbing structure, and a fence keeping them contained while you actually sit down for five minutes. Shade trees and benches mean you’re not melting in the Fort Myers heat, which, if you live here, you know matters more than anything. There’s a pond nearby that adds a nice backdrop, and the open grass field gives older siblings room to run while the little ones stick to the equipment. Bring a lunch — the picnic tables actually get used here, and it’s the kind of low-key spot the neighbors clearly appreciate having around.
