Rutenberg Park

Locals know Rutenberg Park is one of the more reliable spots in Fort Myers — the playground equipment is actually kept up, the mulch gets refreshed, and there are separate areas for the little ones (2-5) and the older kids (5-12) so everyone has their space. Shade trees and covered seating mean you’re not just baking in the Florida sun while you wait. When the kids need a change of scenery, the walking path around the pond is a nice reset, and the open soccer field gets plenty of use on weekends. Restrooms and picnic tables round it out — nothing fancy, but everything you actually need is there.
