Lake Street Playground

Right off the Miners Trail, this is one of those spots where kids can bounce between the playground and actual nature without much convincing. The setup works for the 3-12 crowd, and the wheelchair-accessible design means nobody gets left out — which honestly isn’t a given at smaller playgrounds like this. Miners Memorial Park is basically right there, so it’s easy to make a whole afternoon out of it. If you’re already hiking the trail, it’s a natural stop.
