Myers Park Playground

If you’ve got a toddler and you’re tired of sweating through every park visit, this one’s worth knowing about. The big shade trees actually do their job here, keeping the play area cool enough that you don’t have to cut the trip short by 10am. Slides and swings cover the basics for the little ones, and the restrooms are genuinely clean — not something you can take for granted. Beyond the playground itself, there’s a basketball court, walking path, and open grass field, so older kids or adults don’t have to just stand around waiting. The surrounding neighborhood is quiet, and with the forest trails nearby, it has a low-key, tucked-away feel that a lot of Tallahassee parks just don’t have.
