Lake Leon Playground

If you don’t already know about this little spot, you’re probably not from the area — and honestly, locals seem happy keeping it that way. Tucked back through some winding roads with trees closing in on both sides, it’s the kind of place you stumble onto once and then keep coming back to. The climbing structure is sized just right for the under-5 crowd, nothing overwhelming, and the whole place stays remarkably clean. Pack some food because the BBQ area and benches make it easy to turn a quick playground trip into a full afternoon. It borders forest and trails, so older kids or adults can wander while the little ones do their thing.
