If you’re already heading to Edgewood Park or the skate park, this spot is worth knowing about — it’s right there in the Coogan Pavilion area and works well as a meet-up point for families doing a full day outside. Not much in the way of equipment or amenities, so manage expectations accordingly. Worth noting it’s not wheelchair accessible, which is a real limitation. That said, as a connector space between some of New Haven’s better outdoor spots, it does the job.
