Arbroath Road Playground

Decent wee spot on the edge of a quiet part of Forfar that doesn’t get too mental even on sunny days. The big grassy area is genuinely useful — kids can just run about without immediately hitting a fence or a path, which sounds obvious but you’d be surprised. There’s a bike track for the cyclists in training and a basketball court if your lot are into that. Seating’s not an afterthought here either, and you can keep an eye on the kids without having to constantly get up. Good shout for the under-12s, especially if you want somewhere relaxed rather than somewhere rammed.
