Forfar Loch Playground

Right on the edge of Forfar Loch, this wee playground punches above its weight for what’s essentially a local park. The equipment is kept in decent nick — none of that sun-bleached, wobbly stuff you find at other spots — and there are plenty of picnic tables if you want to make a proper afternoon of it. What really makes it worth the trip is the lochside path running alongside, which gives parents somewhere decent to stretch their legs while the kids burn off energy.
