If you’re local to Largs, you already know this one. The sandbox and water feature keep the younger kids genuinely occupied while parents can actually sit down at the picnic tables and watch without losing anyone — the enclosed layout makes that pretty easy. There’s open grass for running around and a walking path if you fancy stretching your legs, all with the bonus of a pond nearby adding a bit of scenery. Views out toward the Clyde are hard to beat on a clear day, and the whole place is kept in decent shape year-round. Gets busy on weekends, especially in summer, so worth arriving early if you want a good bench.
