Penicuik’s got a solid little playground here, and honestly it punches above its weight for a local spot. The zipline is the big draw — kids queue up for it every time — but the climbing structure keeps the younger ones busy while they wait. There’s an accessible swing too, which makes a real difference if you’ve got children with additional needs. Once the kids are done with the play equipment, the basketball court and football pitch mean you’re not rushing home after ten minutes.
