Glencorse playground

Tucked into one of Penicuik’s nicer pockets, Glencorse is the kind of spot locals actually choose to spend time in rather than just passing through. It’s got that relaxed, unpretentious feel that makes it work for pretty much any age group. Not the flashiest playground around, but the area itself does a lot of the heavy lifting — it’s genuinely pleasant. Worth a visit if you’re already in the neighbourhood.
