Summerlee Playpark

Right next to the Summerlee Museum of Scottish Industrial Life, this wee park makes for a decent stop if you’re already over that way with the kids. It’s a good little park — nothing flashy, but solid enough for a run-around with younger ones. The museum itself is worth a look while you’re there, all the industrial artifacts and heritage stuff that Coatbridge does pretty well. Don’t expect to spend a full afternoon here on the playpark alone, but paired with the museum visit it works out nicely.
