Small but solid little park that gets the job done. The enclosed play area means you’re not constantly chasing kids toward the road, which parents around here genuinely appreciate — swings and a climbing structure keep the younger ones busy while older kids head straight for the football pitch. There’s decent open grass space too, so it never feels cramped even when a few families show up at once. Benches mean you can actually sit down rather than hover. Penrith has flashier options, but Castletown is the kind of place locals use on a Tuesday afternoon without making a big deal of it.
