Riccall Play Park punches well above its weight for a village park — it’s genuinely one of those places that keeps kids busy long enough for you to actually sit down and enjoy a cup of tea. The zipline is the obvious crowd-pleaser, but the basketball court and skate area mean older kids aren’t just hanging around looking bored while the little ones play. There’s a proper grass field too, so if someone inevitably brings a football, there’s actually room to use it. Picnic tables and benches make it easy to settle in for a few hours, and the whole place is kept in decent nick — no broken equipment or overgrown corners.
