Worden Park Play Area

One of the better free days out in Leyland, honestly. The play area covers a good stretch of Worden Park and does a solid job of catering to different ages — there’s a proper toddler section separate from where the bigger kids are on the climbing frames and slides, which makes life a lot easier for parents. The sandbox and play train tend to be a hit with younger ones, and the maze nearby adds something a bit different once they’ve burned through the main equipment. Chuck in a football field and walking paths for when you need to stretch your own legs, and you’ve genuinely got enough here to fill a few hours without anyone getting bored.
